Invest in Gloucestershire: Building Momentum on the National Stage

It’s been a busy and highly productive period for the Invest in Gloucestershire team

With a strong presence across a number of major industry events showcasing the county’s investment offer.

At UKREiiF 2026, we delivered a high-profile programme of activity, including a panel discussion on Accelerating the Growth of Resilient Technology Clusters, which positioned Gloucestershire at the forefront of innovation-led growth. Alongside this, we launched Gloucestershire’s new Investment Prospectus, bringing together eight investable opportunities across regeneration, innovation and sustainable development. The response was extremely positive, with strong footfall, over 15 targeted investor meetings, and a high level of interest across all projects. We are now progressing a number of ongoing conversations with investors and development partners.

This momentum has continued at Infosecurity Europe, where we engaged with a wide range of UK and international businesses. We held several meaningful discussions with overseas companies interested in establishing or expanding in Gloucestershire, particularly within our cyber, digital and advanced technology sectors.

Looking ahead, we will be attending London Tech Week, continuing to promote Gloucestershire as a leading location for innovation. We have supported the Office for Investment in delivering a panel session on the UK Stand on Tuesday 9 June:

“Defending the Digital Frontier: Inside the UK Regions – Cyber Clusters”

Building on the themes explored at UKREiiF, the session will highlight how regional ecosystems, including the emerging Golden Valley development in Cheltenham, are driving innovation, building capability and strengthening national resilience. Featuring speakers from the National Cyber Security Centre, techSPARK, CyNam and industry partners, the discussion will showcase the strength and ambition of Gloucestershire’s cyber cluster.

Across all activity, Gloucestershire continues to build strong visibility, engagement and investor interest, reinforcing its position as a compelling place for businesses to invest, innovate and grow.
