Out and about in the county with Invest in Gloucestershire

October has already proved a busy month with the Invest in Gloucestershire team.

The month started with a visit to the new Forum Gloucester development in Gloucester where the team met Reef Group Managing Director Peter Langley Smith, who provided a tour of the building and some insights into the progress of the development.

With the recent announcement that Fasthosts Internet Ltd are confirmed as the Forum’s first business tenants, the vision for the Forum as a fast growing and innovative technology space for companies is well underway. The development will include over 97,000 sq ft of high-quality office space, a 131 bedroom boutique hotel, co-working space, retail and car park. The team were thrilled to witness this exciting development which is moving forwards leaps and bounds. This will provide exceptional quality meeting space for the city.

The team also attended CyNam’s recent event 24:3 Securing the UK’s future Through Technology. The Western Gateway Cyber & Technology Supercluster explored technology's vital role in safeguarding the UK's future prosperity and resilience. With a packed agenda, the sessions provided valuable insights and input from key stakeholders from the supercluster.
