Gloucestershire Unveils ‘Opportunity Gloucestershire’ Brochure to Attract Sustainable International Investment

The brochure serves as a complete guide for international investors, showcasing the county’s thriving innovation-led sectors, exceptional talent pool, cutting-edge commercial footprints, and a collaborative, no-cost support ecosystem designed to help businesses land, launch, and grow.

At its core, Opportunity Gloucestershire is more than a brochure—it’s a statement of intent: Gloucestershire is open for sustainable, future-focused, international business.

This high-profile launch aligns with Gloucestershire’s strategic priorities around sustainable growth and long-term economic development, underpinned by the recently concluded Local Growth Plan consultation. The plan highlights the region’s commitment to supporting start-ups, scale-ups, inward investors, and exporters within a dynamic and resilient business environment.

To amplify the launch, the Inward Investment team showcased the brochure at UKREiiF 2025 in Leeds, as part of the Western Gateway pavilion. The event—attended by over 16,000 professionals across investment, development, and infrastructure—offered an ideal platform to spotlight Gloucestershire’s offer on the national and international stage.

Colleagues from Gloucestershire County Council took part in panel discussions on delivering sustainable regional growth, and the team engaged with investors and developers interested in transformative regeneration and sector-specific opportunities. The event was further elevated by a keynote from Minister for Investment Poppy Gustafsson, who emphasised the role of Foreign Direct Investment in unlocking global growth and regional prosperity.

The energy and optimism around Gloucestershire’s presence were further reinforced by recent success stories such as the arrival of European Agri-tech AI firm Agrovech at Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm—a tangible example of the county’s appeal to fast-scaling international innovators.
