One recent success story is Unwasted, a UK firm we supported to establish operations at Cam Mills in Stroud. Their £20m investment will create 70 new jobs and produce fully recyclable construction materials, a fantastic example of sustainable innovation happening right here.

Looking ahead to next year, we have an ambitious programme:

• Showcasing our Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing sector at Farnborough Airshow, a global platform for aerospace and innovation
• Working with CyNam and the Golden Valley development team to promote the eco system internationally, reinforcing our position as the UK’s cyber capital
• Launching digital resilience workshops for the agri-tech industry, combining rural expertise with digital innovation to support food security and farm productivity
