Supporting international investment into Gloucestershire’s cyber ecosystem

The Invest in Gloucestershire team delighted to welcome Arksoft

The Invest in Gloucestershire team was delighted to welcome Mr Tahir Esirgen, CEO of Turkish software and cyber security firm Arksoft, following an introduction from the commercial team at the British Embassy in Istanbul.

Founded in 2017 and now employing 40 staff, Arksoft works with an impressive domestic client base including Turkish Airlines, major banks and government institutions. The company is now exploring expansion into the UK as part of its future growth plans.

During his visit, Tahir immersed himself in Gloucestershire’s thriving cyber and tech ecosystem. This included attending a networking event hosted by Hub8 at the MX in Cheltenham, as well as the CyNam showcase, In the Eye of the Storm, which explored how organisations such as AWS and Splunk have responded to real-world cyber incidents.

The visit concluded with tours of potential office space across the county, giving Tahir a first-hand insight into the high-quality business environment Gloucestershire has to offer.

We look forward to welcoming Tahir back to Gloucestershire as he progresses his plans to establish a UK base and become part of our growing cyber and tech community.
