Turkish Agricultural AI specialist chooses Hartpury Digital Innovation Farm

Invest in Gloucestershire and our partners at Hartpury University & College are delighted to announce a new arrival to the Digital Innovation Farm.

Turkish company Agrovech,  specialises in the use of artificial intelligence with drone and satellite technology to improve crop yields, has chosen Hartpury’s Digital Innovation Farm as its UK base.

Agrovech, monitor crop health enabling smarter decisions to boost yields. increase productivity, cut costs and sustainably manage ecological impacts. The technology provides location-based analysis to deliver tailor-made solutions for smart farming.

Their co-founder, Ali Furkan Kamanli PhD, also a senior academic in the Faculty of Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Sakarya in Turkey, visited Hartpury last month and was very interested to hear about the ability to work on joint programmes of mutual interest, utilising Hartpury's land and existing sensor capabilities, as well as gaining input from academics.

It opened our eyes to the vast opportunities for expanding our product offerings and collaborating with Hartpury's extensive network of potential end-users across the UK.
